James Gunn offers a little update about the film project Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 which will start shooting when he completes the production process of The Suicide Squad. This director should have finished the process of shooting Guardians of Galaxy Vol. 3 Now, but due to some cases eventually, it must be delayed.
With that being said, Gunn now provides an update on when fans might be able to witness the third and final installment that is highly anticipated in the Guardians trilogy and that will take a while.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will not start production for at least another year, said James Gunn. The director revealed that in a question and answer session on social media with fans. While most of the questions over the past few months have focused on The Suicide Squad, there are still many people who want to know when they will finally see the Guardians return. With production that will not begin for at least another year, films may not reach the cinema until the end of 2022 or early 2023.
James Gunn is working hard at The Suicide Squad and that will take up a lot of his time over the next year. Then, he would only return to the MCU to start the third and final film in the trilogy, which should have been in post-production now if Gunn hadn’t been fired.
As we know, Disney fired Gunn in the summer of 2018 for his old “chirping case” but he was re-contracted less than a year later. During the director’s dismissal, the Guardian players were shocked and outspoken, especially Dave Bautista. The entire cast went even further to release a joint statement asking the studio to reconsider.
